  • Minimum Participants: A minimum of 4 participants is required to run the class.

  • Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are non-transferable within 48 hours of the workshop start time. Cancellations made earlier are eligible for a workshop date change.


  • What should I wear? Wear comfortable clothing; aprons and gloves will be provided.

  • Is there parking available? Yes, ample parking is available nearby.

  • What happens if the minimum participants aren’t met? You will be notified and offered a date change or a full refund.

Meet the Tutor 

Chika is a Japanese artist and plant enthusiast living in Auckland, New Zealand. Since 2011, she has combined her childhood loves of crafts and plants through her business, Chic by Chica.

Working from her home greenhouse and workshop, Chika creates a variety of botanical-themed items designed to bring joy and happiness to everyday life. Her journey began by providing decor for local cafes, and she has since expanded to offer a wide range of products through regular pop-up market stalls, workshops, and an online store.

Chika’s passion and extensive experience make her the perfect guide for your kokedama journey.
